1. Trademark transfer process
The trademark transfer process includes: application → acceptance → review →Announcement→Issuance of transfer certificate. To apply for trademark transfer, you must use the unified application form developed and published by the State Administration for Industry and Commerce. The application form can be obtained from the Registration Hall of the Trademark Office. It can also be downloaded online. If a trademark agency is entrusted to handle the matter, it will be provided by the agency.
To apply for trademark transfer, the following documents must be submitted to the Trademark Office:
1. By the transferee "Trademark Transfer Power of Attorney" stamped with the official seal;
2. An "Application for Trademark Transfer", the application should be stamped with the applicant and the transferee seal;
3. If applying for transfer, relevant supporting documents should also be submitted
4. A copy of the transferee's "Business License";
5. If the application document is in a foreign language, a Chinese translation confirmed by the applicant or agency organization's signature should also be provided

3. Time required for trademark transfer

2. The Trademark Office will issue a "Certificate of Approval of Transfer of Registered Trademark" within fifteen days after receiving the transfer application.
3. The date marked on the "Certificate of Approval of Transfer of Registered Trademark" is the effective date of transfer registration.
IV. Legal provisions on trademark transfer
The trademark transfer process shall apply to Article 42 and Article 43 of the Trademark Law.
Article 42: When transferring a registered trademark, the transferor and the transferee shall sign a transfer agreement and jointly submit an application to the Trademark Office. The transferee shall ensure the quality of the goods using the registered trademark.
After the transfer of a registered trademark is approved, it will be announced. The assignee shall enjoy the exclusive right to use the trademark from the date of announcement.
Article 43 A trademark registrant may license others to use its registered trademark by signing a trademark license contract. The licensor shall supervise the quality of the goods used by the licensee using its registered trademark. The licensee shall ensure the quality of the goods using the registered trademark.
If you use another person's registered trademark with permission, the name of the licensee and the place of origin of the goods must be marked on the goods using the registered trademark.
